El Yunque Rainforest Drive

El Yunque is the only tropical rain forest in the U.S. National Forest System and it’s located on the Luquillo mountain range.
The rain forest is noted for its biodiversity and its “home” to exotic flora and fauna. You’ll see jungle like vegetation, wild orchids, waterfalls, giant tree ferns and beautiful hardwood trees. Keep your eyes open for the local parrots and be sure to take your camera to capture the wonderful panoramic views.
